Symptoms of Happiness

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

—Mahatma Gandhi, Indian Peace Maker, Nonviolence Communicator 1869-1948

When you make a commitment to yourself today to bring happiness into your life, you are giving yourself the greatest gift. When you commit to being happy like you would commit to being a good friend to others in your life, you will naturally bring more energy, optimism, joy and peace into your life. We all experience moments of happiness in our lives, however brief they are. Learn to become more aware of those moments like you would when something difficult happens to you. In other words, watch out for any symptoms of happiness! The more you acknowledge their presence, the easier it is for you to consciously practice how to cultivate more of it in your life.
